Many patients resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. However, follow the advice of your treating doctor about this.
You may feel mild to moderate burning or pain after an injection. The treated area may even be sensitive for a few days after the treatment.
Swelling and discoloration (redness or bruising) at the injection site is a common side effects of injectables.
Keeping a cold compress on the treated area(s) during the first few hours after treatment will help to minimize the extent and duration of the discoloration and swelling. If the swelling and redness persist for more than 5 days, please contact your treating physician.
After 24 hours, you may gently clean the treated area and wear make-up, unless the treating physician tells you otherwise.
