It is normal sometimes to have a swollen and maybe red under the chin straight after the treatment. Some patients get bruises that vanish on their own. The extent of this depends on the health of your skin. Cooling well after the treatment helps to reduce swelling and possible after pain. Because of the swelling, your under chin may seem thicker the first week, and this will disappear by itself. After six to eight weeks, you will see the final result and can undergo the subsequent treatment.

Remember NOT TO USE any blood thinning medication one week before the treatment. It is also better not to use any cream or make-up the evening before the treatment and on the day itself.
