LongfunctiecentrumO2CO2 offers all pulmonary function tests and breathing coaching at an academic level. This includes: Spirometry, Body-box, Diffusion, bronchodilator response and capillary blood gasses.
Furthermore, offers the center therapy for various chronic hyperventilatory states. In a 3-4 months coaching trajectory the breathing center is reset. Pulmonary function tests and blood tests are regularly done. In most cases the therapy results in complete or partial disappearance of symptoms in conditions as: long-COVID, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and chronic hyperventilation/anxiety. Children are also welcome.
Chronic fatigue, stress and sleeping disorders
Chronic fatigue and stress are commonly experienced in our stressful society. The importance of an abnormal breathing pattern is underestimated. Although respiration plays an important role in many spiritual and religious believes, it is never measured. We will measure and correct the breathing pattern with measurable objective results!
Your energy level will rise and the fatigue disappear. During this 3-4 months coaching trajectory an app/sensor will help you with the exercises. The regulation of the level of activity and alkaline nutrition helps enormously in achieving results. Improvement in sleeping is one of the first results we see. The whole treatment is supervised by a registered healthcare provider.
Post-COVID
Many patients suffer from chronic fatigue and energy loss after COVID-19 infection. Even after little complaints during the actual infection, the fatigue can be devastating. Many patients cannot function at their work or household anymore. A therapy is not yet found.
However, longfunctiecentrumO2CO2 offers real a therapy for you. By resetting the breathing center, using mainly the Buteyko breathing technique, the levels of CO2 and oxygen (O2) normalize. During this 3-4 months coaching trajectory, it is essential that the level of activity and alkaline nutrition is closely regulated.
Fibromyalgia and chronic hyperventilation/anxiety
The importance of a normal breathing pattern is underestimated. An abnormal breathing pattern leads to changes in CO2 levels, oxygen release and (para)sympathetic autonomic nervous system. Patients are progressively trapped in an hyperventilatory state leading to symptoms as chronic fatigue, unexplained pains, concentration difficulties and sleeping disorders. It triggers much anxiety and you feel stressed and unhealthy. We called this condition BREIS (Breathing Related Energy Insufficiency Syndrome). In regular medicine often the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is made without offering a treatment.
We offer effective treatment in an 3-4 months coaching trajectory. You gets help with the breathing exercises of an app/breathing sensor and intensive coaching of registered healthcare provider. Alkaline nutrition speeds up the effects of the exercises and is part of our holistic approach.
