In most instances, you can anticipate returning to work around ten days after the procedure. During this time, it’s recommended to continue wearing the compression garment, ideally beneath loose-fitting clothing. It’s important to note that prolonged sitting might not be advisable even after this period (please refer to the sitting protocol). For the initial two weeks post-surgery, sleeping on your stomach is best, which minimizes pressure on the treated area. Following this period, you can gradually transition to sleeping on your side but not yet on your back. A regular sitting and sleeping routine is typically achievable after six weeks.

If you gain weight before your operation, you must maintain that weight gain post-surgery if you want to keep your results. This is because when we lose weight, we do not lose fat cells in one particular area. Instead, our fat cells all over our bodies shrink.

It is best to have this plastic surgery when you have your ideal or preferred body weight because a consistent weight allows your plastic surgeon to determine the amount of fat that needs to be harvested and injected into your buttocks.
In other words, having an extra 10 kilos does not mean you will get better results during the surgery.
