Your first visit to us is a pre-consultation. This takes place with our consultant, who will guide you through this special journey as best as possible and is mainly there to listen to your needs and concerns. Our consultant will then share her expertise and knowledge while trying to match your wishes with the available range of services and treatments.
The different options, preparations and our care packages will be discussed with you. Our consultant will show you the doctor’s extensive portfolio. You will receive a copy of our patient information guide to take home from the operation to read again at home. We understand that one visit is not enough when it comes to a decision about your body and safety, which is why we encourage a second visit.
The second consultation is with the selected surgeon. We have now also received and processed all data for pre-operative screening. During this consultation, the technical aspects and possible risks of the treatment will be discussed and you will be prepared for the big day!

This procedure is performed under local anesthetic. The surgeon makes an incision in the shape of a Z under your chin and removes the excess skin. This treatment only affects the neck and leaves a visible scar. You may get the best result by combining this treatment with liposuction. Our surgeon may also advise a different procedure or a combination of procedures because the muscles have also slackened. This procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon makes an incision behind the ears, sometimes up to the hairline. Then he carefully loosens the skin and shortens the flaccid muscles. The skin is then tightened and stitched. You will see results as soon as the bandage comes off. After 1 – 1.5 months, the result is even more visible. The scars are at the ear, under the chin or in the hairline. The effects of the neck lift remain visible for about 10-15 years.
You don’t usually feel much pain after a neck lift. You will wear a support bandage immediately after the procedure to prevent swelling and speed up healing. You wear this bandage at least 1 week after the neck lift. There is a risk of swelling and bruising around the treated area. You will usually already know the result a few weeks after the neck lift. However, the final result of the neck lift, as in almost all plastic procedures, can only be fully assessed after one year.
