BodyTite uses Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) technology. A internal probe delivers controlled RF energy directly into the subcutaneous fat layer, while an external electrode guides the energy. This creates a uniform thermal field that:

BodyTite achieves a butt lift using radiofrequency technology. A thin internal probe is inserted under the skin of the buttocks, while an external electrode sits on the skin's surface. This is crucial for lifting, causing collagen fibers to contract immediately, pulling the skin tighter and lifting the buttock tissue upward. BodyTite is recommended for women with mild to moderate skin laxity—typically those who can pinch 1–3cm of loose skin—especially post-pregnancy patients with stubborn fat and some loosening but no significant muscle separation (diastasis recti greater than 3cm). It's also ideal for anyone who wants less than one week of downtime and no visible scarring. On the other hand, a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is better suited for those with severe skin excess (such as an apron or overhang), significant muscle separation common after multiple pregnancies, or stretch marks below the belly button that the patient wishes to have removed.

Recovery time after BodyTite can vary from patient to patient, depending on how much fat has been removed, how many areas have been treated, and other factors. Typically, patients can return to work within 5-7 days of BodyTite and resume more strenuous activities after a few weeks. As with traditional liposuction recovery, we recommend wearing compression garments for optimal results.

Swelling can occur after the treatment, partly due to the local anesthetic fluid that was injected as well as the treatment itself. The swelling can be experienced the first 5-7 days after the BodyTite treatment.

It is also common to feel temporary numbness in the treated areas. This is a short-term response to the heating of the nerves in the skin during the procedure. On rare occasions, this numbness can take a number of months to disappear completely, although most patients are not affected by it.

Experts advise refraining from this treatment if you have one of the following conditions:

• Pacemaker or internal defibrillator 
• Superficial metal or other implants in the treatment area, including breast implants. 
• Current or history of skin cancer, or current condition of any other type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles. 
• Severe concurrent conditions, such as cardiac disorders. 
• Pregnancy and nursing. 
• Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases
• Any active condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, and rash. 
• History of skin disorders, keloids, abnormal wound healing, and very dry and fragile skin. 
• History of bleeding coagulopathies or use of anticoagulants except for low-dose aspirin. 
• Isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6 months.
